CONFIGURABLE CYLINDER
Cheetah Hydraulics' configurable cylinders will provide a wide array of customization options. Customize cylinder basics such as operating pressure, bore, rod size, shaft material, and stroke. Personalize shaft mount and base mount options, including hole type, internal and external threads, clevis, lug, or no accessory type, and pin hole size. Modify shaft stickout adder length, port orientation, lengths (tube and rod), and even choose the color that suits your preferences.

What is a Hydraulic Cylinder?
A hydraulic cylinder is a mechanical actuator that converts hydraulic energy into linear force and movement. With the use of pressurized hydraulic fluid, they’re able to pull, push, lift and precisely control heavy loads. As an essential part of the hydraulic system, it plays a crucial role in various mechanical applications.
Whether in agriculture, mining, forestry, construction, manufacturing, automotive and other industries, the versatility, reliability and efficiency of hydraulic cylinders are universally recognized.
The general categories of hydraulic cylinders are single-acting and double-acting cylinders. With only one oil access port, single-acting cylinders operate in only one direction. They rely on an external power source to retract the piston of the cylinder. In contrast, double-acting cylinders, with two oil access ports, are able to extend and retract without the need for any external factors like springs or gravity.
What is a Welded Cylinder?
Welded cylinders are constructed by welding the end caps directly to the barrel, reinforcing it, and, at the same time, making it compact and suitable for tight machinery spaces.
They are easily customizable, and, with Cheetah Hydraulics small-bore, welded hydraulic cylinders, you can choose bore size, stroke length, operating pressure and other elements according to your needs. These cylinders range in bore from 1” to 2 ½”, manufactured with chrome plated cylinder rods, honed tubing used for the barrel, robust seal packages, and primed and painted black. Prior to being shipped, each hydraulic cylinder is pressure tested. Only the highest quality cylinders, ready for immediate use, reach our customers.
